HIL is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Cybersecurity and Technical Infrastructure team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations scale with the business while remaining secure.

Within the Cybersecurity and Technical Infrastructure team your mission will be to design and implement secure infrastructure and operations solutions across our cloud environments with a focus on creating a safe space in which stream-aligned teams can be empowered to own the end-to-end responsibilities of building, maintaining and operating their technical systems.

The Ideal Candidate Will

Demonstrable Professional Experience With Strong Programming Fundamentals

• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or GCP fundamentals and commonly used services including compute, DNS, routing, networking, access management, resource provisioning and management
• Experience with cloud security including network segregation, resource policies, account/project and organisational security
• Experience configuring and/or managing commercial WAFs, eg Cloudflare, or Akamai
• Experience developing security policies and controls for protecting web applications and APIs
• Experience with infrastructure as code including Terraform or AWS CDK
• Experience working with and designing scalable, resilient and secure systems
  
  

Highly Advantageous

• Experience across both AWS and GCP highly regarded
• Experience with security tooling and processes, e.g. SAST, DAST, CNAPP, SIEM
