The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer to become a foundational member of our technical team. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a mission-driven company and play a vital role in building our core technology from the early stages. You will have significant ownership and impact, working directly with the founding team to develop the web applications (and potentially mobile applications) that will bring our AI-powered diagnostic tools to users.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain user-facing web applications using Next.js, React, and related technologies.
• Build robust and scalable backend services and APIs to support our applications and integrate with our AI models.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
• Contribute to key architectural decisions and help establish best practices for our engineering culture.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose ways to incorporate them.
• Opportunity to grow: Potentially contribute to or lead the development of mobile applications (iOS/Android) as our needs evolve.

What We're Looking For (Required):

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio or examples of work.
• Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Significant hands-on experience building production-grade web applications with Next.js and React.
• Solid experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go - Node.js preferred but adaptable).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modelling.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A genuine passion for our mission and an interest in the intersection of AI and healthcare.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points):

• Experience developing mobile applications (React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts or experience integrating with AI models.
