At the NORIT Zaandam production site, we have a vacancy for a skilled Process Engineer who will help us develop and optimize chemical processes and equipment allowing us to operate the plant in a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

At the NORIT Zaandam production site, we have a vacancy for a skilled Process Engineer who will help us develop and optimize chemical processes and equipment allowing us to operate the plant in a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Initiate and lead process improvement projects for the entire NORIT Zaandam production site by carefully planning resources, budget, milestones, and timeline, monitoring those throughout the projects and pivoting project plans where necessary,
- Partner with colleagues in the Engineering team, experts from other teams and external parties for project scoping and delivery,
- Work across multiple enterprise systems to collect and analyze data points, and to facilitate projects,
- Perform RCA and 5W analyses to de-complex issues. Propose, implement and monitor preventive actions,
- Ensure best Safety, Health and Environmental standards and compliance with laws and regulations in all your activities.
- Previous experience as Project or Process Engineer, specifically in process industry,
- Formal education in Chemical Engineering (BSc or MSc),
- Fluent in English, good level of Dutch is required,
- Ability to perform chemical analysis and calculations,
- Former experience in project management,
- Strong team orientation and team player,
- Self-starter with drive for continuous improvement.
- Salary of 72,000 Euro per year,
- A one-year contract with the intention to convert this into an indefinite contract if you perform well,
