One of our companies is currently looking for a Product Manager - Processing in Portugal.

As a Product Manager focused on Processing, you will take ownership of core card-processing functionalities, including switching, authorisation, and clearing processes. You will work closely with engineering and product leadership to enhance the transaction lifecycle APIs and ensure the stability, scalability, and observability of the platform. This role is ideal for a technically proficient product leader who understands the complexities of payment schemes and card processing, and who thrives in a data-driven, cross-functional environment. You'll help define the roadmap, prioritise features, and support go-to-market efforts with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap and long-term strategy for card processing functionality
• Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and customer-facing teams to ensure alignment and successful product execution
• Define and manage product requirements, features, and user stories based on customer insights and market trends
• Own the full product lifecycle, from ideation to release and optimisation, ensuring measurable impact through clear KPIs
• Act as the subject matter expert in sales and pre-sales engagements
• Monitor product performance, manage risks, and continuously improve based on feedback and analytics
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a related role, with a background in payment processing
• Deep knowledge of card processing standards (e.g., ISO8583, ISO20022) and API-driven product environments
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data-centric tools, especially invoicing and usage metrics
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics) and product/project management platforms like Jira or Productboard
• Strong technical competence and experience working in agile development settings
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
