Senior iOS Developer Experience Engineer - Platform

We are seeking a passionate Developer Experience Engineer to join our team, where we are dedicated to improving the productivity and efficiency of our development processes. Engineers in the Client Platform Studio work across various squads to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable client development.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to improve and streamline the developer experience.
• Research and understand different customer types, behaviours, and needs to inform product development.
• Contribute to the standardization and guidance of development workflows across various platforms.
• Participate in the development of a unified cross-platform experience to facilitate smoother transitions across technologies.
• Engage in continuous user research to gather insights and identify pain points.
• Implement "shift left" practices to provide early feedback in the development process.

• Building a unified CLI tool for all developers at Spotify
• Migrating to and optimizing for a Monorepo and Bazel build environment
• Investigating building unified IDE environment across Android, iOS, Web, C++, and Backend
  
  

Where You'll Be

• We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the EMEA region as long as we have a work location.
• This team operates within the Central European and GMT time zone for collaboration.
• This role will ideally be located in the London UK, Stockholm Sweden, or potentially one of our other EMEA locations *excluding France for now due to on-call restrictions.
