Senior (Staff) Data Analyst – Fintech | SQL, SAS Viya, Qlik

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and impact-driven Senior (Staff) Data Analyst to join a fast-growing Fintech headquartered in Stockholm. As the company builds a completely new data platform to support next-generation financial services, your work will directly shape how data powers products, decisions, and operations at scale.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and thrives in transformation-focused environments. The position offers a hybrid working model and some travel during the initial months for onboarding and collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a senior analytical partner across product, tech, and operations teams
• Design and execute high-value analyses using SQL, with experience in SAS Viya and Qlik as a strong plus
• Support the development and implementation of a modern data platform to replace legacy systems
• Translate complex business questions into clear, actionable insights
• Build scalable dashboards, reports, and data models to guide strategic decisions
• Drive data quality, governance, and consistency across domains
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a best-in-class analytics function

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in banking or financial services
• Strong command of SQL and comfort working with large, complex datasets
• Experience with SAS Viya and/or Qlik is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, business-oriented mindset
• Experience living and working in Sweden over the past two years is preferred
• Ability to travel as needed during the first few months (typically within Sweden)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Stockholm, with hybrid work flexibility
