About the role
We’re looking for a Fullstack Developer with a backend focus (60% BE / 40% FE) to support the growth of a digital product in the cannabis industry for the US market. You’ll work in a small, cross-functional team, helping build tools that enable better management, compliance, and traceability across the supply chain.
You’ll work closely with the client, using your autonomy and tech skills to deliver value quickly while keeping code quality high. This is a newly opened position to strengthen the team and improve backend scalability and maintainability.
Salary: 14000-18000 PLN B2B
What will your responsibilities be?
- Designing and building new product features end-to-end (backend & frontend).
- Maintaining and improving existing codebase, focusing on performance and clarity.
- Working closely with the client to clarify scope and suggest technical solutions.
- Participating in daily syncs (mostly in the afternoon) and regularly presenting your work.
- Taking responsibility for backend quality and technical decisions (no PM layer).
- Collaborating with the team in a ScrumBan workflow.
What do we expect from you?
- 3+ years of commercial experience as a Fullstack or Backend Developer.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Firebase
- Prisma
- React
- Jest
- Experience with developer tools powered by AI (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Ability to communicate clearly and directly with both the team and client.
- Fluent Polish (internal team communication) and English (client communication).
- Proactive, ownership-driven attitude and strong collaboration skills.
- Good written and spoken Polish & English
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience migrating from Firebase to other backend infrastructures.
About the project
You’ll work on a platform supporting cannabis industry. The client is actively involved and expects high development velocity. Product requirements are often high-level, so we expect you to take part in defining the scope and looking for pragmatic solutions.
You’ll have full autonomy to choose implementation details and suggest improvements. You’ll also be responsible for daily communication with the client, including presenting progress and aligning on priorities.
