About us

We’re a small but exceptionally ambitious team of engineers, designers, and product thinkers with a vision to transform legal research space through AI. Most of us combine multiple areas of expertise — from design & product, to ML & backend, to full stack & DevOps — or are actively stepping outside their comfort zones to grow into new roles. We believe in a shared sense of purpose, and approach problems with creativity, curiosity, and a healthy disregard for how things are “usually done.”

We value smart work over hard work — we optimize for clarity, impact, and long-term maintainability. Of course, we’re not afraid of rolling up our sleeves when things get tough, but we’d rather solve problems cleverly than brute-force them. We promote ownership and despise micromanagement to allow everyone to grow as fast as they possibly can. Furthermore, we value transparency, so you can count on honest feedback from us, and we welcome the same from you.

Even though we’re a fully remote team with a low-meeting culture, collaboration is at the heart of how we work. We support each other in real time, hop on quick calls when it makes sense, and frequently practice pair programming to tackle tricky challenges together. Our team genuinely enjoys working here — and it’s reflected in our collaboration, mutual respect, and the passion we bring to everything we build.
