Currently, for the new Seargin project, we are looking for a Business Analyst to collaborate with the (internal) PO, business owners and (external) development team. The business analyst should ideally have data-related or dashboard-related experience and understand data and bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring that the software solution aligns with the overall project goals and objectives, as well es setting up monitoring for the overall project to track these.

Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with Business POs, solution architect and tech team leads to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements. Analyze and translate requirements into clear and concise specifications for the development teams.
- User Story Development: Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria that effectively capture the desired functionalities and user interactions with the software solution. Ensure the user stories are well-defined, testable, aligned with the project objectives and documented in JIRA.
- Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and especially data workflows (Qualtrics, Snowflake, AWS) to identify areas for improvement and automation. Recommend solutions that streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and align with industry best practices. Set up and monitor KPIs to track system performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with various stakeholders, including POs, solution architect, developers, and test teams, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and foster effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Solution Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, system diagrams (together with solution architect and tech team leads.) Ensure documentation is accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with changes in requirements or project scope.
- User Acceptance Testing Support (only if needed): Collaborate with test teams to define test scenarios and ensure proper test coverage based on documented requirements. Assist in reviewing test plans, test scripts, and participate in user acceptance testing as needed.

- AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation)
- Snowflake data platform
- Programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- SQL and database management systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear requirements.
- Good understanding of data structures and frameworks (eg. REXIS or SAP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and technical expertise.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques, user story development, and documentation standards.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Business acumen and the ability to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives.
