Job Description: Software Development Manager

Working location: Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the software development team to ensure efficient operations and achieve project goals and delivery schedules.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for software development projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.
• Supervise the software development process, manage project resources, and ensure projects are executed according to quality standards and best practices.
• Coordinate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Manage team members' performance evaluations and career development, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
• Develop and oversee budgets for the software development department, ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
• Report project progress and risks in a timely manner, communicate with senior management, and coordinate solutions.
• Continuously track and evaluate technology trends, driving the team to adopt new technologies and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software development and programming, familiarity with common development languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities to motivate team members, drive team goals, and resolve internal conflicts.
• Project Management Experience: Extensive project management experience to effectively plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and staying within budget.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills to effectively interact with team members, senior management, and other departments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify and solve problems, analyze and address complex technical and managerial challenges.
• Team Building Skills: Ability to build and train teams, nurturing team members' skills and development potential.
• Business Understanding: Deep understanding of the industry and market, adept at aligning technology strategies with business objectives.
