AWS and Layer 7 (Application Layer) Production Support

We have an urgent requirement for AWS and Layer 7 (Application Layer) Production Support for one of biggest bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24x7 production support for applications hosted on AWS.

Monitor application performance and availability using AWS CloudWatch, third-party tools, or internal dashboards.

Manage and troubleshoot Layer 7 issues such as API gateway errors, web application performance, and content delivery.

Analyze logs (e.g., CloudTrail, ELB, API Gateway, Lambda) to identify root causes of incidents.

Handle deployment rollouts, hotfixes, and configuration changes.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for incident resolution and continuous improvement.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or GitLab.

Ensure compliance with SLAs and maintain documentation for runbooks, playbooks, and known issues.

Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, ELB, etc.)

Strong understanding of Layer 7 protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP).

Experience with API Management (e.g., Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Broadcom Layer7).

Familiarity with log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).

Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
