Job Summary

As a Senior Data Scientist at Deeplight AI, you will lead the development of sophisticated data science solutions that address complex business challenges for our enterprise clients in the Middle East. This role requires combining advanced analytical expertise with business acumen to uncover actionable insights and develop predictive models that drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior data scientists, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating technical concepts into business value. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across diverse industries while contributing to the region's ambitious digital transformation goals.

Requirements

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem formulation and data collection to model deployment and business implementation
• Design and develop advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization solutions tailored to client needs
• Extract actionable insights from complex, multilingual datasets and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with AI engineers and software developers to operationalize models and integrate them into production systems
• Develop and implement data science best practices, methodologies, and quality standards across projects and teams
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building data science capabilities within client organizations
• Stay abreast of emerging techniques and technologies in data science and evaluate their potential application to regional business challenges
• Advise clients on data strategy, governance, and compliance with regional regulations while ensuring ethical AI practices
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of professional experience applying data science techniques to solve business problems
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, experimental design, and machine learning techniques
• Expert-level programming skills in Python and R, with experience using data science libraries and frameworks
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying predictive models, classification algorithms, clustering techniques, and time series forecasting
• Experience working with unstructured data, including text analytics and NLP techniques
• Proven ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business recommendations
• Experience working in a client-facing role or professional services environment
