Job Title: Mid-Level PHP Developer (Laravel)

Salary: £45k

What You’ll Be Doing

Join a high-impact internal development team that builds and maintains the critical backend systems behind a global digital platform. You’ll work on tools and infrastructure used by multiple teams from support and compliance to platform operations and internal control panels.

Expect to:

• Build and maintain scalable PHP/Laravel systems that handle serious traffic
• Work on complex backend architecture with a focus on performance and reliability
• Create tools that streamline internal workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate directly with the team responsible for core platform infrastructure

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years’ experience with PHP and Laravel
• Proven track record building and maintaining high-traffic applications
• Deep understanding of databases, performance tuning, and query optimisation
• Comfortable working autonomously and owning your part of the system
• Bonus: Experience writing automated tests (PHPUnit or similar)
