Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and optimize Generative AI and machine learning models for high-impact applications in risk assessment, underwriting, and customer platforms.
• Apply hands-on experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, LLaMA2, Mistral, and Mixtral to build real-world AI solutions.
• Develop scalable, production-ready APIs and services using FastAPI.
• Implement advanced semantic search techniques including HyDE, MMR, and LLM re-ranking, using embedding models like MPNET and OpenAI Ada.
• Utilize LangChain, Haystack, and agentic workflows to build modular AI pipelines.
• Integrate LLMs with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures for advanced document retrieval and question-answering systems.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment using AWS tools such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, and S3.
• Maintain high standards in code quality, model management, and version control using Python, SQL, Docker, Git, and MLFlow.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in GenAI and machine learning to shape future technology roadmaps.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Effectively communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences using reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning or generative AI models, preferably in the insurance, healthcare, or finance industries.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with a solid foundation in classical machine learning and deep learning methods.
• Proven experience with LLM prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and RAG integration.
• Proficiency with leading AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Keras, and FastAPI.
• Experience operationalizing models in real-world production environments.
• Familiarity with Power BI, vector databases, and tools for data visualization and monitoring.
• Ability to quickly adopt new tools, frameworks, and adapt to evolving project scopes in a dynamic team setting.
