Lead Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer with expertise in cloud networking, DNS administration, and a strong background in telecom networking to join our collaborative team.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, management, and optimization of our network infrastructure while engaging with diverse teams and global clients.

Responsibilities


  • Design robust and secure cloud networking solutions across GCP, AWS, and Azure environments
  • Optimize DNS infrastructure with knowledge of DNS zones, records (A, AAAA, TXT, NS, SOA, CNAME), and resolution processes
  • Oversee operations of routing tables, including static and dynamic routes, to ensure seamless network communication
  • Configure IP Sec to strengthen network security
  • Integrate AppGate and BlueCat technologies into the network architecture by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Troubleshoot networking protocols such as BGP and OSPF as required
  • Maintain DevOps tools including Terraform for managing infrastructure-as-code
  • Support network automation processes using CI/CD platforms like Jenkins
  • Ensure infrastructure performance through network monitoring based on SNMP tools


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in cloud networking with qualifications in at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Knowledge of telecom networking concepts, including routing table operations and IP Sec
  • Proficiency in DNS administration, covering primary/secondary zones, DNS records, resolution flows, and authoritative vs cached DNS
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure management and automation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, including groovy pipeline management or equivalent tools
  • Background in AppGate and BlueCat technologies with practical integration experience
  • Competency in BGP and OSPF protocols for advanced routing
  • English proficiency at B2 level along with strong communication skills for engaging with global teams and clients


Nice to have


  • Knowledge of MPLS or VPLS technologies to expand networking functionality
  • Understanding of STP, MSTP, or PVSTP for improving network bridging
  • Python scripting skills to support network automation and tasks
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools utilizing SNMP protocols for enhanced oversight
