Senior Network Engineer (Cloud DNS / BlueCat)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cloud Networking, DNS Administration, and a solid foundation in telecom networking to join our dynamic team.

As part of this role, you will play a critical part in designing, managing, and optimizing our network infrastructure while interacting with diverse teams and clients on a global scale.

Responsibilities


  • Design and maintain robust and secure cloud networking solutions across GCP, AWS, and Azure environments
  • Manage and optimize DNS infrastructure with a deep understanding of DNS zones, records (A, AAAA, TXT, NS, SOA, CNAME), and resolution processes
  • Oversee routing table operations, including static and dynamic routes, ensuring seamless network communication
  • Implement and manage IP Sec configurations to enhance network security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AppGate and BlueCat technologies into the network architecture
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking protocols like BGP and OSPF when required
  • Utilize and maintain DevOps tools such as Terraform for infrastructure-as-code operations
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or other similar platforms to automate network processes
  • Drive network monitoring initiatives based on SNMP tools ensuring optimal infrastructure performance


Requirements


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Networking with expertise in at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Deep understanding of telecom networking concepts, including routing table operations and IP Sec configurations
  • Strong skills in DNS Administration with exposure to primary/secondary zones, DNS records, resolution flows, and authoritative vs cached DNS
  • Proficiency in Terraform for network infrastructure management and automation
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins and familiarity with groovy pipeline management or similar tools
  • Background in AppGate and BlueCat technologies, with the ability to showcase effective integration practices
  • Competency in BGP and OSPF protocols is a strong advantage
  • English proficiency at B2 level, with excellent communication skills to engage with multicultural teams and customers


Nice to have


  • Familiarity with MPLS or VPLS technologies to expand networking capabilities
  • Understanding of STP, MSTP, or PVSTP for advanced network bridging scenarios
  • Skills in Python scripting for network automation and customizations
  • Expertise in network monitoring tools leveraging SNMP protocols to enhance monitoring strategies
