Job Description:


Skills Required:

Expertise in routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.

Load Balancer Management - Configuration and optimization of F5, Nginx, or other load balancers.

Managing and securing firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

Cloud Networking – Understanding AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud networking concepts and security.


Job Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should have a solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security and load balancing.
  • Good at performing troubleshooting in fast-paced environment under pressure by understanding nature of issue or traffic flow based on information shared by non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work and troubleshoot on multi-vendor network comprising of Juniper, Pal Alto, ADC etc.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocols including capturing and analyzing traffic with Wireshark and/or other tools.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in working on Internet and data center networks.
  • Possess a solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, HSRP/VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP etc.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) across Windows and/or Linux
  • Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking.
  • Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, shell scripts, Python, Ansible, Terraform) big plus.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): using DevOps, Bit Bucket, GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, JunOS & PAN-OS operating systems required.
  • F5, Cisco ASA & Fortinet knowledge and experience strongly desired.
  • Ability to utilize network monitoring applications such Cacti, Splunk
  • Ability to partner with peers who are globally distributed is a key part of this role.
  • Passion for customer experiences and focus on delivering high quality support.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy for customers.
  • Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
