Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Expert with experience in Computational Biology to join our Research and Development (R&D) organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing AI Agents for R&D. This position requires a deep understanding of computational biology, proficiency in Python programming, and experience with AI and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define R&D AI Agent specifications in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including bioinformaticians, data scientists, and biologists.
• Implement R&D AI Agents, building on agentic frameworks, public and proprietary databases, and computational biology tools.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with AI and machine learning techniques, particularly in the context of biological data.
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.
• Strong background in computational biology and bioinformatics.
• Familiarity with genomic data analysis, gene prediction, and annotation tools.
• Experience in conducting research and developing AI models for biological applications.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding practices.

Functional Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Fluency in understanding, speaking, and writing in the English language.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
