Data Analyst

We're looking for an additional team member to join our Data & Analytics team. You'll be the fifth member, reporting directly to Mike (Team Lead D&A).

In this role, you will be a critical part of our data team. We have built out the initial stages of our data team and now aim to expand our value. So as a Data Analyst, you’ll be in an imperative position working closely with stakeholders to educate and empower them to use data as an analytical tool.

With our team, you'll have a big impact on Channable’s growth and efficiency by translating our colleagues' (Operations, Sales, Marketing, CS & Product) needs into data requests and insights that your colleagues understand in order to drive good and fast decision-making.

In a typical two-week sprint, you will:

• Utilize Databricks to build new analyses and maintain existing reporting for the Management team, Operations, Product, Marketing and Sales in Metabase
• Research (proactively) to find new insights and report on them
• Support teams by assuring data quality in source systems via dbt tests
• Maintain deliverables, projects, and timelines for your business stakeholders
• Communicate findings clearly to a broad range of stakeholders
• Help drive a change in usage of data through active surfacing of insights to stakeholders
  
  
  

Who are you?

• You have +/- 1 years of experience in an equivalent position, preferably in a SaaS company
• You are comfortable using SQL to write analysis and transformations
• Clear and direct communication skills about complex, technical topics
• You are highly motivated to (learn how to) work autonomously, with strong organizational and time management skills
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• You are curious to about how Channable can grow and work more efficiently and learn the tools you need to use to get that insight
• Understanding of SaaS metrics
  
  
  

Some practical things we expect from you:

• You’re available for at least 4 days a week (32 hours)
• You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week
• You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship
• You live in (or close to) Utrecht, or are willing to move

What do we offer?

• The salary is gross between €3.113 and €4.448 per month based on a 40-hour workweek. The salary is determined based on experience. 💸
• Company bonus - up to 10% of your annual salary, determined yearly by our founders based on financial planning and targets.
• 8% holiday allowance - 8% of your yearly salary, which is paid together with the May salary
• Annual L&D budget of € 1000 to spend on anything you want to learn. You can take full advantage of this to grow professionally.
