WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Architect, develop, and execute on our technology roadmap, transitioning from early-stage prototypes to scalable and resilient full-scale production backend services;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and the company’s overarching strategy;
- Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, emphasizing secure connections, data flow, and adaptability to the evolving needs of the business and market trends;
- Deliver technology solutions that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, driving the company’s growth and success;
- Continuously stay updated with the latest trends in backend and web3 development, ensuring Bastion remains at the forefront of technological advancements;
- Establish a scalable tech architecture that not only supports current business needs but also adapts to future market dynamics and customer demands.

MUST HAVES

- 3+ years of backend engineering experience;
- Strong programming skills in at least one backend technology (Go, Rust, Python, Scala);
- Experience with cloud platforms and databases;
- Proven ability to design robust systems and APIs from the ground up;
- Solid understanding of scalability, performance, and security best practices;
- Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

- Significant open-source contributions;
- Prior experience integrating with web3 protocols or blockchain systems;
- Experience working in a startup environment.
