DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration

o Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for complex telco cloud environments.

o Utilize industry-standard infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to provision, configure, and manage resources across private and public clouds.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development

o Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment of telco VNFs and other cloud-native applications.

o Ensure continuous delivery through automated testing and monitoring, reducing time-to-market and minimizing deployment risks.

• DevOps Best Practices Implementation

o Establish and enforce DevOps methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development, testing, and operational processes.

o Facilitate collaboration between development, operations, network, and security teams to streamline processes and resolve issues proactively.

• Kubernetes & Container Management

o Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of applications within Kubernetes clusters.

o Work with various Kubernetes cluster management products to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability for container-based environments.

• Public Cloud Platform Expertise

o Configure and manage services on major public cloud platforms including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google GCP.

o Develop, document, and enforce cloud operations standards ensuring secure, efficient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

• Lifecycle & Deployment Management

o Manage end-to-end lifecycle operations for telco VNFs and other complex applications, from deployment through updates to decommissioning.

o Troubleshoot and continuously improve integration processes and deployment pipelines through automation and innovative tools.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Expertise

o Proven track record in infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

o Extensive experience designing and implementing CI/CD workflows with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

o Demonstrable expertise in DevOps patterns and best practices across full lifecycle deployments.

o Hands-on experience with both virtualized and containerized environments, particularly in relation with telco VNFs or similar complex applications.

o Deep knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Rancher, Octopus, etc).

• Cloud Platform Proficiency

o Solid expertise in configuring and operating services on Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google GCP.

o Experience in architecting cloud-native solutions to meet business resilience, scalability, and security requirements.

• Educational & Professional Background

o A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Advanced certifications or equivalent professional experience are highly regarded.

o Previous experience in a similar role within the telecommunications or cloud services industry.
