Data Governance – Expert

Proficiency in English, French & Dutch.

50% on-site in Brussels, 50% remote working

As a Data Governance Expert, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the mission, objectives, and strategy of your stream within the Centre of Excellence for Data Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data governance experts and data quality analysts to achieve stream objectives
• Collaborate with CoE managers and Senior Management to oversee organisation-wide data governance, quality, and regulatory activities.
• Establish and ensure adherence to enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and practices.
• Serve as a point of escalation for governance, quality, integrity, protection, and data compliance issues.
• Work closely with Business and Functional area leadership to enhance the quality and value of core data assets.

Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in data governance, data quality, or data regulatory and privacy.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
• Strong technical and business acumen in data regulatory and privacy matters.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Proactive attitude, quick self-starter, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment.
