About the role

As a full-stack engineer at the Data Platform - Experimentation team, your work will directly impact the productivity and success of internal teams, enabling them to run faster and more reliable experiments and contribute to company-wide innovations.

Join our diverse distributed cross-functional team, and help us make cities for people, not cars, while working on exciting high-traffic data-intensive systems.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to build and optimize the experimentation platform used by hundreds of internal users.
• Contribute directly to improving key features, with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Work closely with product teams to ensure the platform is intuitive, visually appealing, and easy to use for non-technical users.
• Help maintain and evolve high-traffic (200k RPS) back-end services.
  
  

About you:

• A full-stack engineer with 4+ years of tech experience, including 2+ years in frontend/full-stack roles.
• Front-end: strong JavaScript (TypeScript), CSS, and HTML skills. Experience with React.js is a plus.
• Back-end: good understanding of backend APIs and relational databases (SQL). Experience with Node.js and TypeScript is preferred.
• UX mindset: Ensure a simple, self-explanatory design and intuitive interfaces.
• Proactive problem-solver with an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather user feedback, and align independently with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply and clearly.
