Microservice Developer (Singaporean Only)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
  • Implement secure and efficient internet banking features such as customer onboarding, account reporting, and payments processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, system design, and implementation.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with secure authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth2/OIDC).
  • Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Participate in performance tuning, application optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure software changes follow proper SDLC and DevSecOps principles.
  • Support deployment activities including release management, patch updates, and go-live support.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and provide long-term resolutions.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery and post-release stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise-level Java applications.
  • 2 years of direct experience in application design, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Strong command of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud, and Spring MVC.
  • Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Proficient in agile and waterfall development methodologies.
  • Experience in internet banking or digital self-service platforms is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of deployment and environment management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of multitasking and managing priorities under pressure.
