Role Description – 4-Month Contract (Remote)

We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join Motion on a four-month contract. In this role you’ll craft visually compelling, intuitive user interfaces and exceptional user experiences for our web and mobile products. Working closely with front-end developers, you’ll translate your designs into seamless, user-friendly applications. Day-to-day you’ll conduct user research, create detailed mock-ups, prototype interactions, and refine designs based on feedback and best-practice principles.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Conduct user research and incorporate insights to elevate UX.
• Partner with development teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
• Prototype interactive elements and evolve our design system.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics to guide iterative improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX expertise and interactive prototypes.
• Deep understanding of user-centred design methods and usability principles.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.).
• Meticulous attention to detail and a sharp eye for visual consistency.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating remotely.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage projects independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
