Equity Research Analyst (Medtech)

Our client is an asset management firm and they are looking to recruit an experienced Equity Research Analyst to cover the Medtech sector, generating high-conviction investment ideas for global and regional strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on Medtech companies, including financial modelling, valuation, and industry trend analysis
• Develop and maintain investment theses, providing actionable recommendations to Portfolio Managers
• Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to identify risks and opportunities
• Engage with company management teams and sell-side analysts to enhance research insights
• Collaborate with other research team members to share ideas and contribute to a robust investment process
• Present investment recommendations clearly and persuasively to wider team

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant industry experience as an equity research analyst covering the Medtech sector
• Strong financial modeming, valuation, and analytical skills
• Passion for investing with a demonstrated ability to generate alpha-generating ideas
• Intellectual curiosity and a continuous desire to learn about new technologies, business models, and industry trends
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• CFA or progress toward it is a plus
