Research And Development Engineer

To ensure our successful growth in the future as well, we are looking for a R&D Engineer to join our Product Development team in Framery’s HQ in Tampere. While you can enjoy the benefits of remote/hybrid work, we value in-person collaboration and expect the chosen person to be in Tampere HQ approximately three days a week.

What do we expect from you?

We are after an exceptional engineer who loves solving challenges and creating something extraordinary. We have plenty of interesting puzzles to be solved as we strive for the best! Ideally, you have a background most likely in mechanical engineering, and you are familiar with:

• Sound absorption and ventilation
• Modern design and simulation tools
• Manufacturing for mass production
• Self-directed work ethic and ownership of tasks
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Being a team player who flourishes in a dynamic environment
• Complex problem-solving in new product development

We have a wide area of responsibility starting from concepting and identifying possible technologies and suppliers, creating working concepts, ensuring quality and manufacturability with cost-efficient design. You know your way around variance and tolerances and can design for volume production with automation. A high level of motivation and a keen curiosity to learn new things and technologies are essential. You follow the development of the mechanical engineering field closely and are capable of applying new features to Framery’s products.
