As part of a strategic project with one of our Swiss clients in the pharmaceutical sector, we are recruiting a Data Scientist / Data Analyst (M/F) with a background in life sciences (pharmacy, biology, medical devices...) to support the teams in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of health data related to the development of new components and medical devices.


Role and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with R&D, clinical, and quality teams to structure and analyze data from preclinical and clinical studies
  • Analyze health-related data (efficacy, tolerance, side effects…) to support medical and regulatory decision-making
  • Design statistical or machine learning models to extract insights from domain-specific data
  • Ensure data quality: cleaning, structuring, and documentation of datasets
  • Build dashboards and reports to communicate results to non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions


Expected skills:

  • Excellent command of data analysis tools: Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn...), R, or SAS
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments (GxP, pharmacovigilance, medical devices...)
  • Experience working with biomedical or clinical databases
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, etc.)
  • Ability to translate complex analytical results into actionable insights for medical or regulatory teams
  • Experience in pharma, biotech, or medtech environments is a strong plus


Profile:

  • Engineering degree, Master’s or PhD in pharmacy, biostatistics, data science, or related field
  • Prior experience in data science or analytics applied to healthcare
  • Strong analytical skills, scientific rigor, and autonomy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally (medical, data, IT teams)
  • Fluent in English, German and French are a big plus
  • Valid administrative situation to work in Switzerland
