About the role:

Are you a highly skilled and experienced network engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in hybrid cloud environments across AWS, on-premise, and partner networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in enterprise network engineering and solution architecture, focusing on hybrid cloud environments across AWS, on-premise, and partner networks.
• Proven expertise in AWS network architecture, including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, VPC Lattice, VPN, Direct Connect, and Route 53.
• Design secure and scalable multi-VPC and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in hybrid network design, including integration with third-party gateways (e.g., Telstra Cloud Gateway), site-to-site IPSec VPNs, DMVPN, and secure routing between cloud and on-premise environments.
• Deep knowledge of network security architectures, including Palo Alto firewalls for perimeter security and traffic inspection, GlobalProtect VPN for secure remote user access, and application of Zero Trust principles across hybrid environments.
• Experience designing or integrating with non-cloud-native technologies commonly used in secure hybrid networks, such as Akamai (for CDN, WAF, and edge security), Zscaler (for SASE/Zero Trust secure access to applications), Dynatrace (for network observability, traffic flow monitoring, and latency analysis), NGINX (as reverse proxy/load balancer to manage ingress/egress and secure service access), Kong Gateway (as API gateway with traffic routing, rate limiting, and security enforcement at the edge), and Keycloak (for federated identity, secure access control, and Zero Trust integration with network design).

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of routing protocols, segmentation, subnetting, firewall rules, and network telemetry.
• DNS design, load balancing strategies, and traffic shaping techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear and comprehensive network architecture artifacts, including high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs), security patterns, routing diagrams, and integration specifications.
• Experience leading or supporting large-scale network transformation programs, including migration from legacy infrastructure to cloud or hybrid models and network redesigns to support new security, scalability, or regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical network concepts into business context and collaborate with security, application, platform, and vendor teams in large enterprise settings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in network engineering and AWS architecture.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise network engineering and solution architecture.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure and scalable network solutions.
