Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Belgium

Type: 12 Month Renewable Contract

Next Ventures is partnering with a global financial institution on a major AWS transformation programme. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a large-scale cloud migration project aimed at modernising legacy systems and moving critical financial services infrastructure to AWS. You’ll work within a skilled delivery team focused on automation, security, and performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning and executing the migration of infrastructure, platforms, and applications to AWS.
• Assess existing systems and define the most suitable migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor).
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS best practices and services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Experience with migration tools such as AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, AWS DMS, or SMS.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices in a cloud environment.
