Senior Software Engineer (billing)

  • learn and grow across various technology stacks and application states
  • gain hands-on experience maintaining our on-prem infrastructure and integrations with different cloud providers;
  • engage in the full software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to debugging and continuous integration;
  • create and manage staging environments that closely mirror production, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions;
  • handle live applications, monitor performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimize resource usage and ensure efficient operation of applications;
  • embrace DevOps culture, working closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve reliability of owned systems.

You Are a Great Match If You

  • are a real problem solver who excel at getting things done;
  • have strong experience with Java and Spring Boot (scripting and different languages are a plus);
  • have expertise with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) databases;
  • solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins;
  • good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and proven experience working with back-end integrations;
  • have experience with message queues or Kafka;
  • are product-minded and love solving complex problems and bring understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices;
  • have strong communication and team collaboration skills and English proficiency;
  • interest for continuous learning: enthusiasm for staying updated with industry trends and applying innovative solutions.

Bonus Points For

  • experience in building billing solutions;
  • deep Hibernate knowledge;
  • knowledge of Oracle CC&B product.
