Job Description:

The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the corporate Human Resources department and its management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and process employee data and changes in automated systems.
  • Data entry for payroll processing
  • Independently handle mail, email, and phone communications, prioritizing and determining responses in consultation with relevant parties.
  • Generate correspondence and documents including typing, layout, and editing of provided texts.
  • Address standard inquiries from managers and employees in the field of HR.
  • Manage and archive personnel files.
  • Coordinate internship and graduation requests from educational institutions, including the onboarding and offboarding of interns, in alignment with the organization's needs.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative rules and procedures.
  • Organize internal departmental matters such as office relocations, social activities, and timely ordering of office supplies.
  • Contribute to the organization of employee retirement, anniversary celebrations and employee events.
  • Plan and organize internal and external meetings.
  • Collaborate in HR projects.

Internal and External Communication:

  • Internal: Communicate with colleagues within and across departments to exchange data and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • External: Liaise with educational institutions regarding internships, and with suppliers to obtain information. Coordinate with suppliers and conference centers for organizing external meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBO-4 level or higher
  • Knowledge of HR administration
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
