Front-End Developer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm. We are currently seeking a skilled Front-End Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript and React) for a contract till the end of March 2026, with the potential for extension.

📍 Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote from the Warsaw office.

💰 Salary Range:

• B2B: 160-190 PLN net+Vat per hour (depending on your experience)
• FTE (Umowa o pracę): 20 000 - 24 000 PLN gross

About the Team & Project:

You’ll be joining a small, agile team of frontend developers, backend engineers, and strategists. The focus is on uplifting and modernizing a complex user interface while maintaining core functionality from the legacy pricing system used for structured financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the rebuild and modernization of a complex financial UI.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers and domain experts.
• Implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frontend technologies.
• Work with legacy code while driving improvements in UX, performance, and design consistency.
• Follow best practices in UI development, including testing and accessibility.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of React.js (including Hooks and Context API).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of modern CSS techniques (CSS-in-JS, SCSS).
• Familiarity with software engineering principles like design patterns and unit testing.
• Working experience with Webpack, npm, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Redux Toolkit Query, React Query, or similar.
• Experience building complex forms using libraries like Formik or React Hook Form.
• Familiarity with the Ag-Grid library.
• Experience refactoring or modernizing legacy codebases.
• Understanding of UX best practices.

Preferred Background:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another technical field (not mandatory, but preferred).
