Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically to contribute AI research and innovation as part of the UBS’s strategic AI initiatives, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Group AI Academia & Research team.

You’ll get to

• conduct innovative AI research to explore and develop solutions for Generative AI, LLM and machine learning
• work with top AI research scientists
• experiment with new AI techniques and integrate ethical principles into UBS’s financial systems.
  
  

Your team

You’ll be working in our AI Academia & Research team. We ensure that cutting-edge AI solutions aligned with UBS’s goals, driving innovation and client value. We’re responsible for developing scalable AI prototypes. Collaborating with academia, and delivering sustainable AI solutions to stay ahead of our peers.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than 6 months ago (bachelor's or master's degree)
• has familiarity with machine learning concepts, deep learning frameworks, and algorithm development
• is familiar with programming languages such Python and Java
• has values that align with ours hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• has pragmatic personality with good communication skills
• is motivated to work in collaboration with the business
