Interaction Designer

• Contract duration: 12 + 12 + 12 months 

• Location of work: Canberra/Hybrid or Remote 

• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline

Our federal government client, the Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC)’s Health Business Systems Branch is seeking two Interaction Designers.

Selection Criteria

Essential 

1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience of commercial experience as a UI-UX designer.

2. Experience with Adobe XD, Figma or equivalent tools

3. Experience in conducting testing of prototypes with users and capturing insights and feedback

4. Solid understanding of accessible design principles and experience in designing to meet WCAG guidelines, including AA Compliance

5. Experience in designing information architecture and arranging functionality and content into logical and intuitive structures

6. Experience with Agile software development and project delivery

Desirable 

1. Tertiary qualifications in Design, Interaction Design, Human Centred Design or similar
