We are looking for an HR Data Analyst for Patria – into a brand new role!


As an HR Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to human resources. Your main responsibility will be to collect, analyze, and interpret HR data in order to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving HR processes and practices. Since this is a new role, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to influence how your role develops and what your responsibilities will include. You’ll also take an active role in developing HR processes and systems together with your team and organization.


The position is primarily located in Tampere, but the Helsinki Metropolitan Area is also a possible location. At Patria, we work in a hybrid model, combining onsite and remote work flexibly. This is a fixed-term role until at least the end of 2025. The desired start date is as soon as possible, but no later than early summer. The employment contract will be signed between the employee and Barona HR Oy. Key responsibilities:


- Collect and analyze HR data from various sources such as HRIS systems, employee surveys, performance evaluations, and other relevant systems

- Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability

- Provide HR data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, and apply analytics to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders

- Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand reporting, auditing, and regulatory requirements, and deliver data and analytics tailored to their needs

- Participate in HR-related data projects such as system implementations (e.g. Power BI), process improvements, and automation initiatives


What we expect from you:


- Experience in HR analytics, for example as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar role, with strong understanding of HR processes, metrics, and KPIs

- Understanding of business-relevant HR data and ability to visualize it clearly and impactfully to support executive decision-making

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to generate insights from complex datasets

- Strong proficiency in Power BI and analytical tools or programming languages such as Excel, R, Python, SQL, or other statistical software

- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their data structures, including data collection and transformation

- Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methods such as correlation, regression, and forecasting models

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset, while also being a collaborative team player

- A relevant university degree (e.g. in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Statistics, or similar)

- Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
