Access Administrator Role (18-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Hybrid (First 6 weeks fully onsite) - Tralee, Ireland
Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a global financial services organisation, for an Access Administrator to join their team in Tralee on an 18-month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will report to the IAM Security Analyst Team Lead and play a key role in enforcing security controls across the business. This role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems by maintaining high standards of security administration and Identity Access Management (IAM).
The ideal candidate will be diligent, reliable, and calm under pressure, with a methodical and accurate approach. Strong communication and a customer-service mindset are essential, as is the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure in a multinational environment, supporting a global user base. The team operates on a 6 week rotating shift pattern as follows:
- Two weeks of 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Two weeks of 9:00am to 5:00pm
- One week of 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- One week of 10:00pm to 6:00am
Bank holiday support is required with time in lieu provided.
General Duties and Responsibilities
· Unlocking / Resetting user passwords in applications
· Creating and deleting user accounts on systems and applications
· Report runoff of banking systems, ensuring that any exceptions are reported/acted upon
· Support intake process for security access request queue
· Manage and resolve escalated tickets from the helpdesk
· Collaborate with development teams to implement and test security controls
· Maintain and update administrative documentation related to Information Security
· Assist application teams with project needs, queries, and access issues
· Provide audit reports and documentation for risk and governance functions
· Enforce Information Security policy guidelines and procedures
Desirable Experience
· Experience with ServiceNow (ticketing system)
· Familiarity with Aveksa (RSA Identity & Access Governance platform)
