Joining BESTSELLER TECH, you help us build great products and contribute to the continuous development and optimization of our supplier collaboration processes. We do this by balancing and supporting demands from our business, understanding, and challenging complex processes and introducing modern technology and new ways of working.

YOUR TEAM

You will join a team prioritizing teamwork and social interaction. Our team consists of frontend and backend developers, analysts, a designer, a product owner, and a Scrum Master, working from both Denmark and Spain. We ensure thorough onboarding and a steep development curve with many opportunities. We have a hybrid workplace, allowing you to work from our Malaga office and online.

YOUR ROLE

As a Backend Developer, you will be a key player in our Scrum team, working on innovative solutions that enhance our supplier collaboration processes. Your main focus will be on developing a comprehensive supplier portal to improve transparency and efficiency in BESTSELLER’s sourcing processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and optimizing backend systems using modern technologies
• Collaborating closely with the team to design, implement, and improve technical solutions
• Ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
• Staying updated on industry trends and continuously improving development processes.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong technical skills and a proactive mindset. You are passionate about what you do and enjoy challenging yourself. Most importantly, you are genuinely excited about joining a great team in an ambitious organization and influencing the future of our online shopping experience. Ideally, you bring:

• Experience with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, REST, and SQL (Oracle and Postgres)
• Familiarity with GitHub, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD tools
• A structured, object-oriented approach to coding, ensuring maintainability and reusability
• Bonus: Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, GCP, GraphQL, or MongoDB
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
