Summer Practice - Automating external alarm interface testing
Job Description

Join us as a Summer Trainee and help develop a hardware and software solution to automate the testing of external alarm interfaces in radio units and base stations. This project aims to eliminate manual intervention, streamlining the testing process and improving efficiency in telecom hardware validation.

You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset. Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).

Duration: 4h/day

Period: July- August

Submission deadline: May, 11th

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Contribute to the development of hardware and software solutions for automating radio unit and base station external alarm interface testing
  • Gain practical experience in integrating hardware and software components for efficient, automated testing
  • Collaborate with both hardware engineers and software developers to ensure seamless automation and system performance
  • Build skills in test automation, process optimization, and system integration for reliable and scalable solutions

Key Skills And Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program
  • Familiarity with Linux for system operations and test automation
  • Knowledge of Python for writing scripts and automating processes
  • Familiarity with Arduino for hardware integration and test setup
