We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our Compliance QA Team.

You’ll be reporting to the Compliance QA Manager and you’ll be responsible for supporting him and the team in various aspects, including getting hands-on with any ongoing Automation initiatives (engine automation, scripting tools, AI-assisted bots), playing an active role in creating, scaling and maintaining them, participating in meeting new providers and running proofs of concept on their solutions, then offering your specialized expertise on their integration in a gaming context, or generally advocating for an Automation-first mindset across the QA business unit and company.

You’ll be working with various Stakeholders, such as Developers, Game Producers, Release and Operations Managers, other QA specializations, QA Managers, etc… to take the best decisions for providing a top-notch, Automation-oriented QA Service.

You’ll apply an Entrepreneurial mindset to identify problems and/or opportunities by yourself, developing plans to address them, getting the buy in from Stakeholders and decisional factors, ultimately behaving as an internal Business Leader.

  • Drive and implement Automation initiatives aligned with project, team and business unit strategy
  • Advocate for an Automation-first approach and best practices in any context
  • Participate in Automation-related meetings and lead discussed action points – implementation, technical reviews, proof of concept engagements, etc.
  • Stay involved in and provide specialized information about all Automation initiatives on your radar (existing or proofs of concept) – including technical details on integration, steps to have it operational and scaled, ROI possibilities depending on the project, etc.
  • Identify areas prone to automation within QA workflows
  • Stay updated on Game Engine and Automation-related developments, tools and techniques
  • Provide regular, clear status updates to Automation stakeholders
  • Define and monitor key Automation QA metrics to track initiatives progress
  • Escalate identified risks to your QA Lead and QA Manager and follow up on their mitigation

  • 1+ years’ experience in working with and automating in Unreal or Unity engines (Editor, debugging tools, logging, profiling) – experience in both is a strong plus
  • 1+ years’ experience writing and analyzing C# code (for Unity automation purposes)
  • 1+ years’ experience working with Blueprints and/or C++ in Unreal Engine (can understand engine logic and create automation hooks)
  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience with Python (test scripting, data handling, automation frameworks)
  • Experience designing, implementing, and executing automated test cases for engine-level or gameplay-level features
  • Ability to work autonomously on technical QA tasks (e.g., script development and maintenance, test integration, script bot actions)
  • Good overall understanding of Gaming Production & Delivery pipelines
  • Good understanding of QA methodologies, especially in test automation and continuous testing
  • Adaptable communication skills, used to collaborating with developers, technical artists, and QA stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, growth mindset, problem-solving, solution oriented
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards
  • Familiarity with build pipelines and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is considered a plus
