Network Support Engineer

We are urgently sourcing a Network Support Engineer to work on an initial short term contract with extension to a long term opportunity.

We are proud to be supporting a global organisation, they support working together to promote peace, security, human rights, and sustainable development through diplomacy and international cooperation across the globe. This current opportunity is for a Network Support Engineer with a focus on Data Centre networking (based on Cisco ACI technology).

The initial contract is for 2 months but it will extend well beyond this, some of our engineers have been in situ for years, so there is lots of opportunity here for long term contract working. You will be competent at delivering the following services -

• Management Data Centre Network, UMOJA infrastructure
• Management of security infrastructure (Cisco FTD & ASA Firewalls) related to UMOJA infrastructure
• Cisco LAN switching (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI) of UMOJA used underlay DC
• DC Operation, technical support & trouble shooting
• Automation/Scripting
• Development of detailed network documentation

You will work as part of a large logistics centre where the engineering teams are based, so there will be plenty of interaction and support.

Whilst the role is based in Valencia we are willing to consider candidates who are willing to relocate, although you must already have right to work in Valencia, Spain.
