As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll become part of a skilled and collaborative consulting team. You’ll work either on-site with clients or from a modern, vibrant office in Luleå — tackling complex projects that demand both technical depth and a high degree of responsibility.

Your Role:
You’ll be hands-on in Java development, bringing 10–15 years of experience to the table. Your role will vary depending on project needs, but always with a focus on robust and scalable backend solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping software architecture, mentoring team members, and navigating the technical complexities that come with high-stakes environments like defense.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to backend Java development across various stages of the software lifecycle
Solve real-world technical challenges in defense and industrial client projects
Engage in architectural design and code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support less experienced developers
Maintain high standards of security and confidentiality, particularly in defense-related work

Who You Are:
You have 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of enterprise-level systems
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
You bring a proactive mindset, thrive in collaborative settings, and are driven by solving complex problems
You value structure, clean code, and contributing to a greater purpose through technology

Bonus Points:
Experience in security-sensitive environments or with systems in regulated industries
Familiarity with Spring, Kubernetes, or other relevant enterprise technologies
As part of this role, a security clearance and background check will be required due to the nature of the work.
