As a Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the ultra-low latency network infrastructure across global trading environments. You will work closely with traders, developers, and other engineers to optimize performance, ensure reliability, and maintain security across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support low-latency, high-availability network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in real time
- Work with hardware vendors to evaluate and implement new networking technologies
- Monitor and tune performance of network systems for minimal packet loss and latency
- Collaborate with systems engineers and software developers to optimize end-to-end trading performance
- Ensure security policies are enforced across all network layers
Requirements
- Experience in network engineering, preferably in low-latency or financial environments
- Strong knowledge of switching, routing (BGP, OSPF), multicast, and TCP/IP protocols
- Experience with Juniper, Arista, Cisco, or similar network hardware
- CCIE is a MUST
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Deep understanding of network performance tuning and latency analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
