Job Description
As an IP Senior Network Architect, you will play a critical role in international project activities aimed at enhancing the delivery of IP professional services to Nokia's diverse customer base. In this position, you will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, project managers, technical project managers, and product line managers. Your responsibilities will involve designing and implementing complex network architectures, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also be instrumental in developing strategic solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients, thus contributing significantly to the overall success of our projects. Your expertise in IP networking and team collaboration will be essential in driving positive outcomes and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
As an IP Senior Network Architect, you will play a critical role in international project activities aimed at enhancing the delivery of IP professional services to Nokia's diverse customer base. In this position, you will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, project managers, technical project managers, and product line managers. Your responsibilities will involve designing and implementing complex network architectures, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also be instrumental in developing strategic solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients, thus contributing significantly to the overall success of our projects. Your expertise in IP networking and team collaboration will be essential in driving positive outcomes and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Gather customer requirements and translate these requirements to solutions
- Obtain details of the customer’s current environment and the Present Mode of Operation, perform an Audit when required to understand the network.
- Deliver High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documents, define solution validation test plan
- Develop Migration Strategy, Migration Design, Method of Procedures documents for migration projects involved
- Support pre-sales activities with relevant expertise as required by the account teams
- Travel on-site for customer meetings and/or customer solution validation
You have:
- BSc in Telecom/ Network / Electronics and Communication / Electrics and Electronics Engineering / Computer & Software Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in designing or/and implementing IP/MPLS networks
- Multivendor skills like Juniper, Cisco Huawei
- Good business understanding in vendor or/and operator/service provider environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, customer orientation
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong ability to influence to get the right outcomes, being proactive and result-oriented
- Fluent English and Turkish, excellent communication and presentation skills
- IP Certification and Multi-vendor IOT
- NOKIA NRS1, NRS2 and SRA certifications
- Knowledge of NOKIA 7950, 7750, 7250, 7705 and 7210 products
- CISCO, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications
