We’re looking for a System Engineer with a passion for building and maintaining large-scale infrastructure. In this role, you will be instrumental in operating Website Builder product that was recently rated as best-in-class by Forbes Advisor. You will join a highly capable team and work in a rapidly growing environment that requires constant scaling and innovation.

What You Will Do:

Infrastructure Management: Architect, build, and maintain both physical and virtual servers across on-premise environments and major cloud providers
Research & Development: Innovate by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies and practices to enhance our infrastructure
Feature Development: Design, develop, and implement new features for our Website Builder product, directly contributing to its evolution and success
Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Deploy and manage infrastructure using IaC and automation tools making operations more efficient and reducing manual work
Performance & Reliability: Continuously optimize systems and services, identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks to improve reliability and scalability
Monitoring & Alerting: Develop and enhance monitoring systems to proactively detect issues, focusing on symptoms rather than outages to maintain system health
Incident Management: Participate in incident response and contribute to blameless postmortems to continuously improve our processes and systems

What We Expect:

Experience: At least 3 years of solid experience in managing systems and working in infrastructure environments
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform for automating deployments and managing configurations; proficiency in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, enabling efficient application deployment and management; experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions, as well as a strong understanding of CloudFlare for performance optimization, security, and CDN services
Programming: Proficient programming/scripting skills in GoLang, Python, or another relevant language
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude toward resolving technical challenges
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a high sense of ownership
