Your mission as a Java Backend Developer

As a key member of a 7-person development team, you will:

• Contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of the QIMA ONE SaaS solution, focusing on backend features using Java and Spring.
• Build a stable and coherent architecture.
• Produce clean, tested, and well-documented code.
• Actively participate in QIMA ONE’s innovation culture by proposing creative solutions to continuously improve our services.
  
  

Your Responsibilities

• Backend development: Build and maintain robust functionalities in Java, using Spring and AWS services.
• Technical collaboration: Work with front-end and DevOps teams to create integrated and high-performance solutions.
• Technical innovation: Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve platform performance and quality.
  
  

Desired profile

We are looking for a candidate with strong backend development skills, particularly in Java and Spring. You should be familiar with microservices architecture, capable of analyzing and understanding needs, and able to propose solutions. A Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required. You should be ready to tackle challenges in an agile environment where speed and innovation are key. You enjoy having autonomy over your projects and working in a team.

️ Key competencies

• Technical expertise in Java: Advanced mastery of Spring, knowledge of cloud development with AWS.
• Database skills: Extensive experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• DevOps practices: Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Collaboration and communication: High aptitude for working in a multidisciplinary team.
  
  

Role objectives at 3, 6, and 12 months

• 3 months: Full integration into the team, initial significant contributions to the platform’s code.
• 6 months: Autonomy in developing new features, initiating improvements in technical processes.
• 12 months: Leadership in major projects, significant contributions to QIMA ONE’s innovation and technical strategy.

• Structured 1.5-hour interview via video call with Damien to delve into your understanding of the role and assess your skills
• 1-hour video call interview with the Head of Engineering at QIMA ONE
• Home-based technical test followed by a 1-hour debrief with 3 members of the tech team
• Final 1-hour interview with HR and the CTO
