Junior to Middle QA Engineer

We are looking for a Junior to Middle QA Engineer who will work on a product for the Pharma industry (USA project). The team consists of domain experts, experienced DWH, BI engineers, Business Analyst, DevOps, and QA Engineers. The product development process has an agile flavour and is tracked using Jira. The product itself is running on AWS.

Location: Ukraine, any city

Responsibilities

Analysis of system requirements and producing testing specifications from systems requirements (Jira, Confluence) Functional testing business intelligence software. It includes an ETL-based data warehouse and BI reporting application. Communication with development team regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations
Design, creation and analysing test documentation (test plans, test cases, test specifications, user guides, checklists, bug reports) (XRay)
Support test documentation
Automation of regression and functional testing (Robot Framework/Selenium)
Test data preparations

Technical skills

2+ years of experience in a testing area Knowledge of test types and methods of organizing them as part of the process for testing
Strong understanding of development and testing processes
Comprehensive approach to testing (manual and automation)
Basic Bash scripting skills
English spoken Upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice To Have

Experience in automated testing (Python) and be familiar with automation tools i.e. PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.
Experience in testing Web services, API testing, understanding client-server architecture
Basic Database knowledge (PostgreSQL)
Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with Big Data concepts
