The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for shaping the technological vision and direction of our company. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and a strong background in full-stack development, who can oversee the entire technology stack and drive innovation across all levels of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy and Innovation:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
• Identify emerging technologies and trends that have the potential to disrupt our industry and drive innovation.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to enhance our products, services, and processes.
• Research and Development (R&D):
• Oversee the R&D efforts to develop new products, features, and solutions that differentiate us in the marketplace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications based on market needs and customer feedback.
• Drive a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the technology organization.
• Team Leadership and Talent Development:
• Build and lead a high-performing technology team, including software engineers, data scientists, and researchers.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment where diverse perspectives are valued.
• Technology Infrastructure and Operations:
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our technology infrastructure and systems.
• Implement best practices for IT operations, including cloud computing, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
• Establish and maintain processes for monitoring, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
• Strategic Partnerships and Collaboration:
• Identify strategic partnerships and alliances to accelerate our technology roadmap and expand our market reach.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and research institutions, to drive innovation and thought leadership.
• Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and events to showcase our technology capabilities and thought leadership.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data privacy and security requirements.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to technology operations, data management, and intellectual property.
• Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments that may impact our technology strategy and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of leadership in a technology-driven organization, preferably with a successful start-up, demonstrating ability to scale.
• Deep expertise in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, etc.
• Proven track record of leadership in full-stack development, with experience in both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong technical expertise in modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools, such as Flutter, React, Node.js, Python, Django, etc.
• Experience in architecting and scaling complex web applications, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical innovations into tangible business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing complex technology projects and budgets.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices in technology management and governance.
