Are you a senior SAP ABAP Developer ready to lead a forward-thinking team and work with the latest SAP technologies?

We’re hiring a SAP ABAP Software Team Lead for an established in-house SAP team based in Thurgau. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on modern SAP development—offering the chance to shape future solutions in a business that values innovation, quality, and autonomy.

🚀 What’s the role?

You’ll lead a skilled team of SAP developers while remaining technically hands-on. You’ll architect and deliver innovative ABAP solutions with deep integration into SAP Fiori, UI5, and BTP, supporting both ECC and S/4HANA environments. As a key figure in the digital transformation roadmap, your input will help define the next generation of SAP services for the company.

🛠 What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers
• Design and implement high-quality ABAP solutions using OO ABAP, CDS views, and AMDP
• Deliver modern, user-centric UIs using SAP Fiori and UI5
• Integrate and extend solutions via SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to shape technical architecture
• Define coding standards, review code, and drive DevOps best practices
• Play a key role in the transition from ECC to S/4HANA

✅ What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in ABAP development across multiple modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.)
• Proven leadership experience within a software development team
• Hands-on experience with modern SAP technologies:
• ▸ Fiori / UI5
• ▸ OData services
• ▸ SAP BTP (CAP, RAP, integration suite)
• ▸ CDS Views, AMDP, REST APIs
• Excellent understanding of SAP architecture and integration patterns
• Fluent German (minimum C1) and confident communication skills
