Sr. DevOps part-time

We are looking for a part-time Sr. DevOps professional with experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and database optimization to support our infrastructure improvements. Ideally, you will be responsible for managing the infrastructure, optimizing database performance, and implementing security and scalability best practices across all our candidate services. If you have experience working with AWS Lambda, ECS, VPC, RDS, and optimization tools such as Cloudflare and Vercel, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize infrastructure on AWS, using tools such as Lambda, ECS, VPC, and RDS.
Implement and maintain container orchestration solutions with ECS.
Monitor RDS database performance and work on query and storage optimization.
Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient, applying DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD practices.
Optimize application performance and security using Cloudflare for DDoS protection, CDN, and domain management.
Provide technical support in optimizing applications deployed on Vercel and other front-end platforms.

Technical Experience Requirements:

Extensive experience with AWS and tools such as Lambda, ECS, VPC, and RDS.
Strong knowledge of database optimization and RDS tuning.
Experience with Cloudflare for security management, CDN, and DDoS protection.
Knowledge of Vercel for front-end application optimization.
Familiarity with task and script automation using tools such as AWS Lambda.
Knowledge of CI/CD and optimization of development and deployment processes.

Additional Skills:

Experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of AWS performance monitoring and analysis tools.
Ability to write efficient scripts in Bash or Python to automate tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferences:

Experience implementing microservices and container-based architectures.
Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for managing infrastructure as code (IaC).
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Experience working in agile environments.
Fluent English, both written and spoken, to work effectively with diverse teams.
